The Aurora Fire Department is pleased to announce that we have received our third accreditation through the Commission on Fire Accreditation International, Inc. The Aurora Fire Department was first accredited on January 27, 2000, and was reaccredited in 2005. On Thursday, March 11, 2010 the Aurora Fire Department earned our second reaccreditation. Chief Garcia would like to thank the 325 men and women of the Aurora Fire Department for the dedicated service in living up to our mission. “Exceptional Service to the Community Provided by Well-Trained Professionals” .
