Handicapped and disabled visitors to the Aurora Police Department or Aurora History Museum can receive assistance through the use of a golf cart to transport them to and from their vehicle and the building they are visiting.
Visitors needing assistance should park in the handicap designated spaces in the southeast lot near the Police Department and History Museum, or on the 1st floor of the parking garage, and call 303-326-8991 to request assistance. Close in handicap parking is available for all other buildings on the campus.
When you call for assistance, a security officer will pick you up in a golf cart and take you to and from your destination. Please note that the security guards are not always immediately available and there may be a wait for this service. You may call in advance and pre-arrange a time and location to be picked up. A wheelchair is available upon request at the east entrance of the Aurora Municipal Center in Access Aurora.
